Dr. Hugo S. Salguero, Medical Doctor (MD)

Dr. Hugo Salguero, grew up in California where he also attended college graduating with Honors in Biology in 1997 from California State University, Los Angeles. At the same institution, Dr. Salguero, performed genetic engineering research and obtained his Masters in Biology. He attended Medical School at the University of California, San Diego and graduated in 2005. During Medical School Dr. Salguero was involved with the student run free clinics and performed research abroad on the effects of pollution and its public health effects.

Dr. Salguero performed his rotating internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas and continued to finish his anesthesia residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he graduated in 2009. Dr. Salguero continued his training in Pain Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating from his fellowship in 2010. During fellowship, his interests included treatment of cancer pain, complex regional pain syndrome, spine pain, multiple interventional techniques and neurolytic treatments.

Dr. Salguero continues to be interested in the treatment of spinal pain with modalities that include Spinal injection, dorsal column stimulation, and a comprehensive approach to pain medicine. He has multiple interests outside of work but enjoys biking and traveling the most.

Dr. Jonathan Weeks, Medical Doctor (MD)

Dr. Jonathan Weeks, the son of a Eufaula dust bowl migrant, grew up in California. A military veteran, he worked in the trucking and oil industries prior to entering college. He studied Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, earning degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Bakersfield College and from California State University Bakersfield. In graduate school, he studied Solid State Physics, Organic Chemistry, and Materials Science at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. After teaching Mathematics and Chemistry, he attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, graduating in 2003.

Dr. Weeks performed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno, serving at the Ioannis A. Lougaris VA Medical Center and at Renown Medical Center. He then moved to Rochester, New York for his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center / Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was named a Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research Scholar in 2007 and also named Outstanding Teacher at his graduation in 2008. Having earned a Fellowship in Pain Medicine, Dr. Weeks continued his training at the University of Rochester Medical Center / Strong Memorial Hospital, graduating in 2009. During fellowship, his interests included neuropathic pain, cancer pain, spine pain, and interventional techniques.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with Certifications in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Dr. Weeks continues to be interested in the treatment of spinal pain and a comprehensive approach to pain medicine. He has numerous interests outside of work but enjoys fishing, astronomy, history, and family activities the most.

Ms. Jennifer J. Magness, CNP

Jennifer Magness attended Saint Louis University for her Nursing Degree. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With over 3 years’ experience in Pain Management she strives to build great patient relationships . She enjoys spending her extra time with her 3 sons.

Ms. Sherri Richardson, CNP

Sherri Richardson attended Chamberlain University for her Doctoral of Nursing Practice degree and Oklahoma University Health Science Center for her Master of Science degree in nursing. With close to one and a half years of experience in pain management, she strives to build good patient relationships offering compassionate care. She enjoys spending time with her family.
