Dr. Hugo S. Salguero, Medical Doctor (MD)

Dr. Hugo Salguero, grew up in California where he also attended college graduating with Honors in Biology in 1997 from California State University, Los Angeles. At the same institution, Dr. Salguero, performed genetic engineering research and obtained his Masters in Biology. He attended Medical School at the University of California, San Diego and graduated in 2005. During Medical School Dr. Salguero was involved with the student run free clinics and performed research abroad on the effects of pollution and its public health effects.

Dr. Salguero performed his rotating internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas and continued to finish his anesthesia residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he graduated in 2009. Dr. Salguero continued his training in Pain Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating from his fellowship in 2010. During fellowship, his interests included treatment of cancer pain, complex regional pain syndrome, spine pain, multiple interventional techniques and neurolytic treatments.

Dr. Salguero continues to be interested in the treatment of spinal pain with modalities that include spinal injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and a comprehensive approach to pain medicine. He has multiple interests outside of work but enjoys biking and traveling the most.

Dr. Chancen Hall, D.O.

Dr. Chancen Hall is from a small town in southern Utah near Zion National Park.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated with Honors from Dixie State University in St George, Utah in 2013.  During his undergraduate training he performed research on tree frog populations in Zion.   He met and fell in love with his wife while working together in student leadership at Dixie.

After working as a phlebotomist for a year, Dr Hall attended Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado where he graduated in 2018.  His medical training continued at the University of Kansas—Wichita where he completed his internship and anesthesia residency.  After graduation in 2022, he completed fellowship in chronic interventional pain management from Penn State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Dr Hall joined APMCOK in 2023.  His primary motivation is to offer a comprehensive approach to chronic pain.  His treatment modalities include multiple spinal and joint injections, peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, neurolytic treatments and sympathetic blocks.

The Halls are thrilled to be back in the Midwest!  They have been blessed with four daughters and Dr Hall enjoys every minute he has with them.

Ms. Jennifer J. Magness, CNP

Jennifer Magness attended Saint Louis University for her Nursing Degree. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With over 10 years experience in Pain Management she strives to build great patient relationships . She enjoys spending her extra time with her 3 sons.

D. Quintin Lai, PA-C

Dennis “Quintin” Lai has been a pain management Physician Assistant/Associate at Advanced Pain Management Center of Oklahoma since 2020.  Born and raised in Tulsa, OK, he is a Union High School graduate.  Treating individuals with chronic pain in northeast Oklahoma hits home, as he grew up with two close family members with chronic pain.  Quintin is dedicated to improving your quality of life with compassionate, comprehensive, and individualized care.  Through his personal and professional experience, Quintin believes sharing his knowledge of evidence-based medicine and collaboration between patient and provider’s goals, consistently yields the best results.

Quintin received his Bachelors in Cellular Biology Science from Northeastern State University Tahlequah, OK in 2008.  Since graduating with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from South University in Savannah, GA and becoming a board certified PA in 2012, he has a diverse work experience in family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, correctional medicine, wound care, and pain management.

He cherishes being a husband and father to 3 children.  He enjoys sharing multiple hobbies with his family, such as, traveling, cars, technology, tennis, gaming, cooking, BBQ’ing, and woodworking.

Linda Ellard, APRN

Linda Ellard graduated from The University of Oklahoma with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2017.  She is board certified through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.  Linda has experience in Pain Management for more than 3 years and she is devoted to providing compassionate care to patients in pain.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing things outdoors.
